Holidays

Sorry everyone. I know I haven't posted in a while. Well to give everyone an update I made A's in all of my classes this semester. So the 40 page paper must have been a hit! Jo is here till the 6th of Jan then its off to Maryland for 4 months then off to Ecuador for 3 years. Josephus is here visiting until the 2nd. I hope everyone out there enjoyed their Christmas and I hope the New Year to come will be just as great. I had a good Christmas. For once no family fueds broke out, so I have to say that I had a very nice time. Now all I have to do is find the energy to take down all the Christmas decorations. Ugh!

:o(

I think I scared everyone when I said I had a 40 page paper due and yes this is for Dr. Stanley. In my Roman Provinces class we had to write a paper each week on our individual province. Mine was Egypt. Luckily we just combine all those papers to make the final, unfortunatly combined they only make up about 28-30 pages. Then I have to go back through to make them flow, to add in new info and to take out repetitive material. Ugh! That's what is taking so long.

On another very sad note. Some of you guys know my very good friend Jo. Well since she recently got married to an Army man, she knew that they would have to leave soon. Well they finally recieved their orders. She's going to Ecuador for three years! She leaves from Oklahoma on the 22nd or 23rd of this month. But on a happier note. She gets to move to Ecuador and do lots of fun stuff there. At least I hope she takes advantage of the time!

Christmas Decor

My mom is going decorating crazy. We got a real tree Friday, which I have to say smells very nice, but for the past three days we have done nothing but pull boxes of decorations out of the attic. The only thing that saved me from putting lights out on the house today was that it rained!!! Granted the whole reason I took this day off was to spend time with my family, but for some reason my definition of that doesn't include me, by myself on a freezing rooftop dangling from the edges to perfectly place multiple electrically glowing bulbs. At least now that it is raining I can talk her into sitting and watching a Christmas movie instead. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
