Hotties

Wednsday in my Roman Forum class I was sitting and pondering my daily crossword, waiting for class to begin when I look up and see that the really hot guy that was sitting across the room in our class on Mon. has now seated himself next to me. He catches me looking and smiles and I return the smile and return to my crossword wondering at my luck. Then another guy that I had spotted in my class Mon, whom I think is also cute comes in and sits on my left. Wow. Guy on my left is slightly taller than me with short, brown hair and eyes. He has a slight build and sports a gruff look with his two day old beard. Guy on my left is just the opposite. Blonde hair, blue eyes, clean shaven in casual dress, medium build and several inches taller than me. Ug..decisions...desicions. So what do I do. I stare at my crossword trying to think of something to say. Class begins and Dr. Stanely solves part of the problem for me. He began talking about our term packet and the blonde leans over to me and tells me that he hasn't gotten one yet. Conversation opening! So we chatted throughout the rest of the class. I don't think he was flirting, but I'm hoping that when Mon. rolls around that I can either sit next to him again or that he will set by me. The guy to my left didn't ever even look in my direction. But that is okay because I still got more than what I bargained for.

I was really flattered the other day when Josephus told me that I reminded him a little of Elektra. I was thinking to myself 'Wow I'm a hot chick that beats the crap out of villians with cool ninja powers and is slightly witty but mysterious.' Then another friend whom I mentioned this to said, "Yeah your cold and sarcastic!" Immidiatly bursting my bubble. So I have to know if anyone else out there thinks that I am cold and sarcastic. Do you?

Simpsons

Today I got to watch the Simpsons. I happen to really enjoy the show but rarely ever catch it on TV. This one struck me has odd-funny in a couple of ways. This episode is an old one where Homer goes into Flanders house for the first time. What struck me as funny first is that the most religous man in the entire show, even more so than the reverend, has a full bar downstairs equipped even with his own draft Duff beer. And another thing that caught me as funny is the line Homer says as he is drinking Flanders beer. Homer thinks that Flanders is rubbing in how much better his life is compaired to Homers and this is what Homer shouts in part of his tantrum. "I can't help it if your wifes butt is higher than mine." I don't know why but I laughed a good minute at that.
So for all who are wondering: No I am not going to the wedding. It's not something I would feel comfortable doing. Although it would be interesting to see the look on his face when he spots me in the crowd!

A few days ago as I was taking Jo to the airport an odd thing happened. I was driving to the highway. The roads were very, very icy and I was traveling 20 miles an hour through an intersection. Well to the right of the other side of this intersection is an O'Rielys auto shop that had a semi sitting in the parking lot. Well as I passed through the intersection this semi started to come out into the road infront of me, and I freaked out not knowing if I could stop in time. I couldn't believe the driver was attempting to cut infront of me on such an icy road. Then I noticed that the semi wasn't turning it was heading all the way across the street. Well as I struggled to stop my car in time, I look up to the driver to scowl at him when low and behold there is no driver. With my car stopped and the semi ceasing its movement on the curb across the street, blocking all traffic both ways, I look to the right and there is the driver tring to slip and slide his way to the truck. At this sight and there no longer being a threat to our lives Jo and I die laughing.

Another odd thing happened the other day. I got a wedding invite in the mail and looked at it and looked at it and couldn't figure out who the people were that were getting married. I kept thinking why would someone I not know send me an invite. Then I looked at the parents names and it dawned on me that I had only called the guy by a nickname. We will name this guy Rush for identity purposes. But this was a guy that used to have a crush on me so bad that at one point he stalked me. (It was a brief stalking but a stalking none the less). So he sends me a wedding invite. How weird is that??

Airports and Goodbyes

I took Jo to the airport today. It was sad saying goodbye surrounded by people coming and going. She cried and I didn't. Is that bad?

The streets have a nice film of ice all along them. There is some standing water but it is all beginning to freeze. Posted by Hello

This is what it looks like outside today. None of this is snow. It is all ice! Posted by Hello

Thoughts

It’s 4am and the rain is pounding on the patio door. Except for that all is quiet in the house. My mom and my sisters have long been asleep and as usual I am still creeping about the house. Jo just left after spending some quality time with me before her trip which will eventually land her in Ecuador, and I am thinking of how much I will miss her and how much I missed each of my friends as they left Oklahoma. I am also thinking of the horrendous butt screwing OU received tonight. So as one can imagine my mood is a bit overcast with the rain accenting it quite nicely. However I do have to say that I am not really depressed. Just blah. I knew somewhere deep that OU would not win. I had just hoped to give them a good run for the win, and I have known about Jo leaving for some time now; leaving me time for adjustment. So here I am sitting at my computer hoping for a year that has just as much promise as the last, just with better results. Good luck to us all and to all of my many friends out there: I love you all big bunches!

Happy New Year

Well happy new year everyone. We've made it through another year. Yesterday I experienced one of the greater fireworks shows that I have seen so far. I was in Bricktown on top of the Meriott parking garage with Bella, Polly, Nia and Josephus, enjoying the company sponsered fireworks display and I have to say it was quite nice! I enjoy spending the holidays with friends. Who better than loved ones and friends to bring in the New Year. Well I hope everyone is enjoying their day and that God will bless everyone in the upcoming year.
