Accounting quiz went okay...Could have been better but I knew it wouldn't be perfect. Now it is time for Finance!!! She calls it a quiz but this one quiz is worth 10% of my grade. To me that sounds more like a test! Pray for me guys!

I took my quiz in accounting and it kicked my butt...I have no idea what I made on it but I am blessing the fact that the three lowest quizzes of the class will be dropped. Now I just have to make sure that all of them have a higher grade. Unless miraculously I made a perfect score on this one. Which I highly doubt!!!

Other than that classes are going well...

Accounting

I'm going to have to do a lot of work to catch up in my accounting class. Having several years between acct classes has resulted in much loss of information from my brain. Luckily the teacher seems pretty nice and willing to help out. Today is my first quiz. So I guess I will found out just exactly how much I remember!!

First Day of School

So my first day of school was yesterday, and I have to admit that it wasn't that bad! I think my accounting class is going to kick my butt, but the other classes sound like they are going to be fun. (Well as fun as a business class can be). My company that I am advising is off to a good start. So far outlook good. Now we will see if I am saying the same by week 8.

Okay so I have to admit that I am getting a little nervous. School is really only a day and a few hours away, and I am nervous about my new job. It doesn't have anything to do with the students in so much as it has to do with me trying to make the teachers that hired me feel that they made the right decision in picking me. Is that stupid?? I feel goofy admitting to it. Oh well. I will just have to do my best. At least I feel better now that I have written it out. :)

I spent the summer dwelling in the catastrophic history of the American Indians and now in two days I begin the lovely monotony of accounting and finance with a dash of management. The fun part about this fall though is that I am a consultant for the IBC program. I think it will be pretty fun and it will look really good on my resume!
